The National Council on Aging (NCOA) website (https://www.ncoa.org/) states that, ‘Over 25 million Americans aged 60+ are economically insecure—living at or below 250% of the federal poverty level (FPL) ($29,425 per year for a single person). These older adults struggle with rising housing and health care bills, inadequate nutrition, lack of access to transportation, diminished savings, and job loss. For older adults who are above the poverty level, one major adverse life event can change today’s realities into tomorrow’s troubles.’
Senior Information Network (SINI) seeks financial support, to keep SINI a free and accessible service. Our organization began in 2003, “16” years ago and your donation will ensure that this critically-needed service continues.
Together, we will continue to address metro Atlanta’s senior economic insecurity by bridging the gap between the growing needs of underserved seniors and resources that can help address their needs.
